I have been a tutor for Iowa State University in Psychology, Biology, Genetics, and Organic Chemistry. I have been on the Dean's List every semester I have been at Iowa State, and I am a member of the University Honors Program. I am a full member of the Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society. I was an AP National Scholar in 2006, having completed 8 AP exams with scores of 4 or 5. My ACT score was 32. I would like to be a tutor because during graduate school I will be a teaching assistant, and I think tutoring will help prepare me for this. I also believe that the best way to really learn something is to teach it to someone else, and tutoring is a great way to do that. Last semester, I participated in a Biological internship with NASA, so I not only have educational experience, but I have real world experience, as well.
