Experience
Was in Top 10% of graduating class of 600 all four years of high school, and was ranked number 1 in my class for three of those years. Scored at 27 on the ACT. I've had three internships so far. Two were in high school, one of which was with the graphic design department and creative director at Skyline Exhibits in Eagan, Minnesota. Another was with a wedding planning firm called Jaclyn Elizabeth Events in St. Paul, Minnesota. My current internship is with Cuce Shoes, as an Iowa State Representative who sells their college footwear. I've taken advanced placement writing and reading classes in high school and took Spanish all four years. I also was pretty good at math, with my strong suit being Geometry. So far in college, I have tested out of two required writing classes for my major, and have taken various advertising and journalism classes that require quite a bit of writing. I have also taken statistics, hospitality management, design, astronomy, biology, economics, psychology, sociology, communication studies, speech, journalism, and advertising. Overall, I think I'm a very strong writer and could be very helpful in writing papers, speeches, or anything to do with literature, advertising, marketing, event planning, or journalism. I'm also extremely organized and love scheduling things, so if anybody needs help with time management or ways to study such as concept maps, I have lots of ideas that are helpful. I'm also very good at making project display boards, and tend to spend hours on them so that the colors, type and pictures work just right together.

Hobbies
I love to be outdoors as much as possible. My family has a cabin in Wisconsin that we go to often, where I like to spend time with my 2 brothers and 1 sister, along with my parents and friends. We go water skiing, tubing, kayaking, and more. I started playing soccer when i was young, and played throughout high school. In our free time, my friends and I enjoy going to the rec center to work out or play volleyball. I also took piano lessons for 10 years, and continue playing on my own today. My teacher held annual piano recitals and I also competed in festival competitions. In my free time I love to read books, work on crafty projects, and write.
