I am currently a Freshman at Iowa State University studying Elementary Education

I have worked at a Day Care over the summer not only caring for, but also providing help to younger children learning various subjects. I have also worked as an intern in a High School government class as well as in 8th grade social studies, and in a first grade classroom. I received a composite score of 25 on my ACT. I want to be a tutor because I get gratification when a student understands their subject. Education is important to me, and I hope to be a part of a students overall success. The student is in my primary interest and I want nothing more than to see them succeed and create a bright future for themselves.
