I am a junior in Elementary Education at Iowa State University, pursuing endorsements in Reading and English/Language Arts along with a Learning Technologies minor. I have a cumulative GPA of 3.95.
Experience
I tutored for the subject of Reading at Meeker Elementary last fall as a part of one of my classes. I'm also very comfortable working with students in the subjects of Writing and Math. In addition, I've know of ways to incorporate ideas that use technology because of my Learning Technologies minor. -- I had a great experience with the tutoring program, and I would love to continue working with more students!

Hobbies
My hobbies/interests include being involved in music here at ISU where I play the clarinet in the wind ensemble as well as piano, and I also sing in the Cantamus women's choir. Outside of music, I really enjoy watching ISU men's basketball, reading in my free time, and cooking (I have quite the sweet tooth!:) I am someone who is easy to talk to, and I have a happy, bubbly personality! I get along well with others, I know and understand curriculum content, and I love what I do in getting to teach students!
