I am currently a senior at Beckman Catholic High School. My high school GPA is 3.52. In the fall of 2011, I will attend Iowa State University majoring in Agriculture and Live Sciences Education.
Experience
My previous teaching/tutoring experiences include teaching children ages 7-11 about the dairy industry and dairy products, and coaching softball for girls ages 12-15. My ACT score is 23. In high school I have taken physical science, biology, chemistry and anatomy. I excelled in pre-calculus. I have lettered in both academics and choir. I am involved in Tri-M (honor society for music) and the National Honor Society. I was the 2010 Dubuque County Dairy Princess Alternate where I displayed my abilities to teach children and adults.

Hobbies
Living on a small family owned dairy farm has contributed to my personality and work ethic. I have learned great responsibility from milking cows and feeding calves each day. I am reliable, patient and responsible. I get involved in my community by coaching youth softball and distributing Communion to the sick weekly. I have successfully juggled academics, work and extracurricular activities. I enjoy being the president of vocal music at my high school. I have been an active participant in the speech club, drama club, and art club.
