I have tutored a lot in math and reading. I have some experience with writing. All of my experience has been with K-8th graders. I have a strong passion for helping create life long learners. I think that a great teacher can change the view of education for a child. Along with working with students in Ames, IA I have worked with students in Houston, Texas and I have spent a summer in Wiesbaden, Germany working on an Army Base helping run a summer program. I am very flexible with learning styles and can use a child's interests to help motivate them to learn.

I also like to keep up with the latest technology. Just last week I set up a Wiebo account (the Chinese equivalent of Twitter) for the salon I work at to help stay in touch with our Chinese clients.
