ExperienceI have previously tutored at a collegiate level; for two years I tutored college juniors and seniors in electronics classes at Iowa State University.
I have previously worked as a teaching assistant [for a couple different professors] at Iowa State University. This involves running laboratory sessions, leading study/review sessions, giving lectures, objective grading, and much more.
I would like to continue my work teaching/tutoring for many reasons, however, most notably is that I think tutoring is a chance for me to pass on some of the knowledge I have obtained over the last 10 years while studying in academia. Organization, study habits and critical thinking are the keys to success in any field, any class, or any test. I can elaborate more on my teaching theories for anyone interested.
I have an extensive background in both Math (from the basic time tables through the theory of matrices) and science (from the basics through quantum theory).
HobbiesFor the most part I work on my research at ISU -- currently I am investigating methods to improve the efficiency of Organic Photovoltaics (solar cells!). In my spare time a I ride my bike quite often and golf.
