I graduated from Iowa City High School with Honors. Right now I am a first year design student at Iowa State University.
Experience
I have experience with teaching early elementary aged students, as well as helping friends and teammates with homework and studying. I took all Honors/AP Math, English, and History classes. My interest in tutoring is fueled by my belief that when you teach, you learn as much from the student as the student learns from you. As well as feeling that two minds are better than one, and even the most studious student can benefit from a second source of knowledge. I have held part-times jobs at a restaurant and a local shoe store. My language in high school was French. My friend and I did our first year over the summer of our sophomore year, I continued to take French over the summers, and studied independently reading fables, and the novel Le Petit Prince.
