I am a Senior at Iowa State University graduating in May of 2012. I will be graduating with a degree in Culinary Science which focuses heavily on the sciences.

Experience

I've taken 7 semesters of Chemistry courses at Iowa State including: generalized chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and food chemistry. I also have taken numerous biology courses and microbiology courses. In addition I am well versed in nutritional science. Lastly, I have taken 5 years of French. I am extremely patient and understand how the sciences can be frustrating and demanding. I've grown appreciate and understand the importance of science and want to help inspire others. I believe I bring a sense of practicality to these subjects so they transcend from text to real life situations.
