I was always the one people would ask if they had a question on homework in high school and even now in college. I enjoyed showing fellow students the right way to solve a problem, along with the look of recognition when it made sense. I've always been a great test taker and scored a 31 on the ACT. I firmly believe I can pass such skills onto other students. I want to be a tutor mostly because I enjoy helping others and the satisfaction of seeing them "get it." I've been a premiere student leader on Iowa State's campus for the past year, and I would enjoy the chance to explore leadership opportunities on a more personal level.

I'm the type of person who was found with a book more often than not. I love a good read in my spare time. My knowledge is quite versatile, and I take quick to almost any subject, whether it's teaching or learning. My friends often call me a walking encyclopedia because my brain contain so much information all the time. I enjoy things that are fun, and I know how to make activities and work enjoyable for all through my joking personality. Despite this attribute, I do know the value of study time and what it takes to accomplish all tasks on time. I'm an excellent people person, and know how to relate to most anyone.
