ACT score of 29 I would like to be a tutor because I enjoy teaching and explaining concepts, as well as the satisfaction of knowing that I am helping a student work their way toward achieving their goals. Struggling through a difficult class is extremely frusterating, and I like knowing that I can aid in relieving that stress and improving a student's understanding. I have taken classes in all of the subject areas which I have listed above and recieved an 'A' average in each of them. I graduated in the top 10 of my high school class, and I am a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. I have three younger siblings (ages 17, 8 and 3), so I am also interested in tutoring K-8 students if needed.
