I am a recent graduate of Iowa State University. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in health and endorsements in reading and coaching.
Experience
I used to work for the university in the America Reads/ America Counts tutoring program tutoring kindergarten through fifth grade students in reading and math. Tutored a second grade student in reading through the Duffelmeyer Reading Clinic through one of Iowa State's graduate level classes. I want to tutor to help students feel confident and excited about school and to tap into their interests to make their learning fun.
