I am a junior at Iowa State university studying Psychology with a minor in French.
Experience
I have had over 6 years of French as well as classes related to my Psychology major. I received a 28 on my ACT overall, as well as a 28 on the English section, a 29 on the writing section and a 27 on each math and science. I enjoy helping students with their studies because I have struggled with classes in the past and tutoring help me a great deal. I want to be able to give that back to someone who is experiencing difficulty in their classes as well. I have over a 2.5 gpa currently, as well as am in the Psych club and French club called Cafe +. I have an internship this summer at the Children's Cancer Connection, but will still be able to tutor. There, I will organize events, contact sponsors and act as a family counselor for children who have dealt with cancer and their families. Because I love on campus, it would be ideal if the student is available to meet as close to ISU as possible.
