-Community tutor for young Black youths in my area -Athletic coach for youths between the ages of 5 and 18 -Worked on athletic and academic achievement goals -Installed productive study skills The reason why I want to be a tutor is because of my always growing need to help and assist when others are in need. I know what it's been like to be on the short end of academic achievement and since I have striven to help lead and mentor youths in any and all ways possible. Being academically self-motivating can be very difficult, especially when there isn't a push, I've taken on the responsibility to change the way young students view education. Statistics, History, Sociology, English...a long with many other courses. College has readily prepared me for the basics in k-8 mathematics. I'm strong in the areas of Algebra and Geometry. I can tutor K-12 in History and English due to the plethora of History and English classes I have taken . I was NJCAA Athletic All-american in Track and Field in 2012, and 2xNJCAA Academic All-American all while at College of DuPAge. I was also Earned 3 Big12 honors in Track and Field for All-Conference achievement.

I love reading and writing, currently reading the book The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I'm very active, have always been and I do a lot of incorporating athletics and academics for those who play sports. I hold a 3.0 GPA while competing at the Division 1 level. I'm very patient. Helping raise my little brother has strengthened my paternal instincts and my maturation as an adult. I care a lot about youths and that's why i do a lot of the activities, tutoring, and mentoring that I do. I'm a Christian before anything else and with the permission of parents will connect spirituality with their lives in anyway needed. My motto is God before all and Family before I; I feel it's very intuitive to think of others before yourself and to always hold yourself to high standards.
