Experience
I tutored in my senior year of high school for a boy in 8th grade. I tutored him in Algebra I. I did not take the SAT, but I received a composite 33 on ACT (30 English, 34 Math, 35 Reading, 31 Science, 29 Writing). I prefer to tutor math and chemistry, but I'm capable to tutor in English and lower level Spanish. I took 3 years of chemistry in High School and the IB exam with a 5 (of 7). I will be taking Chemistry in my first semester at Iowa State. I took IB Math as well which essentially covered through Calculus II. I received a 5 of the IB exam and a 4 on the AP Calculus BC exam. I choose to review calculus at Iowa State to be sure I had a very good understanding before I moved on to more difficult mathematics, so I will be taking Calculus I in my first semester at Iowa State. In English, my IB exam score was a 4 (but I was EXTREMELY sick on the day of the exam) and my AP Lit and Comp exam score was a 4. I will be taking an English class in my first semester at Iowa State. I took Spanish all four years of high school, but it was not my strongest subject. I took the IB exam and received a 4. I plan to continue to study Spanish at Iowa State and will be taking it my first semester.
