I'm currently a freshman at Iowa State University double majoring in Criminal Justice and Sociology, with a Pre-law certificate. I graduated from Menomonee Falls High School with a GPA of 5.3 on a 5 point scale (it's confusing, I know)
Experience
I have helped classmates previously especially with History/Government. I am most passionate about the Social Studies. I was a student leader for two years in an Honors Algebra class and could help with math up to Algebra II. My AP scores were a 3 on AB Calculus and US History, and a 5 on AP US Government and Politics. I also earned a 31 on my ACT. I'd like to be an occasional tutor in order to help students who are struggling so that they don't give up on a subject entirely. I've spent four summers as a staff at a summer camp teaching kids aged 7-16 how to ride horses, while it's not academic, I do have tons of experience on how best to teach young and older students a new skill or how to improve upon a skill.
