Tutored my cousins and the occasional classmate in Algebra and Geometry. My math knowledge ranges from Algebra to Pre Calculus along with Statistics. AP score in Statistics was a 3 History ranges from World to in-depth US History I have taken Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and most recently Earth & Space Science ACT composite score was a 30 34 in Reading 28 in Science 27 in Mathematics (17/18 in Algebra) 31 in English I like to think of myself as a history buff, for me it's always interesting to learn about a place's past and I have a knack for helping people remember historic dates. Mathematics has always come easy for me. Even teachers used to say that I could pick a new concept up minutes after introduced to it. Science is always a subject that I loved to learn and help people understand. I want to be a tutor because I want to help kids learn materials that will help them later in life. I have always enjoyed helping people and teaching people has always been enjoyable. I especially love watching a child succeed in a subject that I helped him in.

Hobbies
I am a really laid back person most of the time but am able to be strict when needed. I don't believe in negative reinforcement but instead trying to find something positive in a child's work to help improve self esteem and confidence so that they believe that they can improve. I also have more of a hands-on teaching style. I never enjoyed lectures as a student and found that when a child is more involved in what they are learning they tend to understand and enjoy the subject matter a lot more.
