I have not tutored before, but I was studying elementary education at Simpson College before transferring to the design program at Iowa State. I have been around the classroom all my life with a second grade teacher for a mother. My specialties are in the liberal arts areas and the humanities. I work well with children, and decided to switch majors away from education to work as a freelance artist. I have learned a lot of good study and learning techniques from my mother that made it possible to take numerous ap classes in high school without much trouble.
