I took many honors courses and some AP courses throughout my years in high school and currently am on the dean's list for academics at Iowa State. I spent the past summer in Maryland talking with families and students of all different race, economic class, religion, etc. about education, school systems, classes, and challenges, and achievements in the area of academics. I feel I work very well with groups and enjoy working with others.
