I received a 32 on the ACT with 34's in English and Reading. English/Writing experience: I took Advanced Writing in high school. I was Copy Editor of my school's yearbook for 2 years in high school. I have taken college English classes in which I received A's. French experience: I took 4 years of French in high school and graduated high school with 8 college credits in French. I tested into 300 level freshman year of college, and I have taken three 300 level classes while in college receiving grades in the B+ to A range. I was awarded the Pella Sons and Daughters Scholarship and Pella Dollars for Scholars scholarship. I was awarded a fellowship at Central College (where I attended before transferring to Iowa State). I feel my skills in French and English are quite extensive and would like to use these to help others develop proficiency in these areas.

Hobbies
I enjoy painting, drawing, running, watching movies, going to football games, and cooking. I spend most of my time outside of work and class during the week studying so that I can stay ahead enough in my studies to be able to hang out with friends on the weekend.
