Education
I graduated from high school at Holy Trinity High School in Winsted, MN. I had a 4.0 GPA in high school. During my junior and senior years of high school, I enrolled in a 2-year community college (Ridgewater College) and graduated with my Associate's Degree in May of 2011 (same time I graduated high school). I had between a 3.9 and 4.0 GPA in college coursework. My undergraduate major is psychology.
Experience
I worked as a tutor both at my high school and at my college, with a wide variety of students in a number of subjects. I want to be a tutor because I like helping people and enjoy working with others. I have taken many psychology, sociology, english, and philosophy courses from beginner classes to advanced, specialized classes. I went to Washington D.C. as one of three student ambassadors for Minnesota and met with politicians through the People to People program. I earned the President's Award for Academic Excellence. I have consistently maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and college. I graduated high school with my Associate's Degree from Ridgewater Community College in Hutchinson, MN. I am a black belt in taekwondo as well as a black belt instructor.
