I have tutored others in various math classes, non-calculus based physics, chemistry and biology. I am a "people person" and very conscientious. My SAT score in 2001 was 1540 (out of a possible 1600). I was a National Merit Scholar finalist and my ACT score in 2001 was 33 (out of a possible 36). I am patient and happy to help students who find themselves struggling. I have had several internships for the Program for Women in Science and Engineering at Iowa State. On such internship resulted in publication. This work was a bioethics case study of Golden, a transgenic crop developed for cultivation in developing nations with high incidences of dietary carotenoid deficiency.
