I am a senior in the professional architecture department at Iowa State University.
Experience
When I was in high school I regularly mentored middle school students. I also spent a semester tutoring in a third grade classroom. I would like the chance to give younger students the tools they need to advance into higher education. Throughout my time at ISU, I've taken a wide variety of classes including physics, english and writing, structures, environmental biology, sociology, and a plethora of design courses. Two summers ago I worked on a U.S. marine base in Okinawa, Japan teaching swimming lessons to marines and their family members of all ages. Last summer I studied abroad in Berlin, Germany and gained a cultural edge on education.
