I am a senior at Iowa State University. I am majoring in Animal Science Pre-Vet. I am currently taking classes at Iowa State. I can make myself available Tues, Wed, and Friday nights. If I'm in the area and you're available there won't be any driving rates. My flat rate for that would be $2.00-4.00 depending on how far. :]

I have experience from tutoring K-12; depending on subject material. I will not accept a student I don't believe I can help. Classes I Have Taken at Iowa State: Beef Management Swine Management Sociology Microbiology Biology Completed English class requirements Moral Theory and Practice (philosophy) Academic Learning Skills (how to study course) Rural Institutions and Organizations/ Social Problems (Sociology) (I didn't list the course numbers, but if you would like them I can give them to you) I have gotten published in a newspaper in Texas for a non profit organization called C.A.R.E. which is a big cat sanctuary. I have lots of pictures if you're interested. My GPA last semester was a 3.82/4.0 scale. Average of 3.5. Participated in Tri Beta Honor Society and currently still on Dean's List.

Hobbies

I volunteer at the Animal Rescue League and the Ark pet shop in Ames. I used to be very involved in the Ankeny community while in high school, but as a double major its hard to keep up with a social life. You have to weigh your options. I encourage questions as myself I will not say or do anything unless I know that it is correct. (Not opinions =) )But for example, if I did not know how to drive a car I wouldn't just plunge through it. I'd first ask how to turn it on etc. I like to get the basics down before the specifics. I want to make sure as a student you succeed. There are some subjects out there I needed help with; and there are others we at excel at. Sometimes we just need a push forward. I have also been a Sunday school teacher as well as a confirmation leader at my old church, as well as a junior counselor at R.L.B.C. I also do not enforce my beliefs on anyone, nor really talk about it all that much unless brought up in conversation. I accept all other religions as well, and I am interested to learn more about each. I am very interested in animals and have set out my college career as well for the future. I plan to go to South Africa to work at a reservation, and at a zoo in Australia. Possibly work at a shelter for free. Eventually I want to settle down and have my own clinic. Have some side work of working for non profit organizations and start a pit bull/"bully" breed rescue.
